Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is a great remaster of a classic arcade racer. The game is incredibly fun, and mechanically much deeper than its presentation might suggest.

Before tackling the Time Trials, I got 100% in Adventure Mode (Easy). What I did to learn the more advanced techniques is play through the Time Trials in ascending order of difficulty, rather than by the in-game order. That resulted in a much smoother learning curve, and allowed me to learn the mechanics well enough to clear the hardest maps without too many issues.

These are my first wins against Oxide's Ghost, and as you can see, I still made many mistakes. However, so does Oxide! His times are not that difficult to beat once you internalize the "fast" way to drive around a track, utilizing boost pads and drift-boosting to constantly drive at high speed.

- Oxide Station
- Tiny Temple

I used the "Drift" class except for a handful of tracks where I used "Speed" instead. Those instances are labeled below.

CTR Nitro-Fueled - Oxide Time Trials (Gasmoxian Slug)

Super Rude Bear Resurrection is a masocore precision platformer with a very unique corpse mechanic that make level traversal easier with each death.

These are all levels in World 7 - Hateworld - completed with a Rainbow Medal, i.e. without dying.

The final and most challenging world to rainbow, because of two levels. The final two checkpoints of 7-3 almost drove me insane, and I still find them difficult to clear consistently despite having rainbowed the level by now.

Then there is the obvious level, 7-2. The hardest level in the entire game despite its short length. The second checkpoint was the bane of my existence... To have a chance at becoming more consistent at it, I experimented with various strats and settled on the slow one that is shown in the video.

The bonus levels were surprisingly easy for being in the last world.

Fantastic game overall, really glad I played it!
